Pharmaceutical Cold Storage
Your Pharma’s Safe Zone – Always the Right Temperature.
Pharmaceutical cold rooms are critical infrastructure for preserving the efficacy, safety, and shelf life of temperature-sensitive medications.
Our pharmaceutical cold storage rooms are designed with precision, reliability, and full regulatory compliance.
Types of Cold Rooms for Pharmaceuticals

Ambient Storage (15°C to 25°C)
Used for storing most medicines that don’t need refrigeration, like tablets and capsules. It keeps them safe at normal room temperature.

Refrigerated Room (2°C to 8°C)
Used for temperature-sensitive items like insulin, blood products, and vaccines. These rooms keep products cold and effective, with backup systems.

Freezer Room (-15°C to -25°C)
Stores products that need freezing, like some vaccines and biologics. It ensures long-term preservation and has strong insulation and safety systems.
Pharmaceutical Products We Support
Here’s what we outlined the cold storage detailed conditions and notes for each of the pharmaceutical products our cold room supports.

Tablets & Capsules
- Ideal Temperature: 15°C to 25°C.
- Relative Humidity: ≤65% RH.
- Storage Duration: 1–5 years.
- Note: Avoid high heat/humidity; store in original packaging.

Blood
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 6°C.
- Relative Humidity: 60% ±10% RH.
- Storage Duration: Up to 42 days.
- Note: Stored in blood bank refrigerators; do not freeze.

Plasma
- Ideal Temperature: ≤-18°C.
- Relative Humidity: Not critical.
- Storage Duration: Up to 1 year.
- Note: Frozen immediately after separation; rapid thawing before use.

Insulin & Hormones
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 8°C.
- Relative Humidity: 60% ±10% RH.
- Storage Duration: Until expiry.
- Note: Do not freeze; stable at room temp for 28 days once opened.

Enzymes & Cultures
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 8°C or -20°C.
- Relative Humidity: ≤60% RH.
- Storage Duration: 6 months to 2 years.
- Note: Sensitive to temperature; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Biologics
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 8°C.
- Relative Humidity: ≤60% RH.
- Storage Duration: As specified by manufacturer.
- Note: Must avoid temperature excursions; use data loggers.

Diagnostic Reagents
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 8°C or -20°C.
- Relative Humidity: ≤60% RH.
- Storage Duration: Varies (from months to years).
- Note: Must follow specific label instructions for each reagent.

Injectables
- Ideal Temperature: 2°C to 8°C (most), or 15–25°C.
- Relative Humidity: ≤60% RH.
- Storage Duration: Until expiry.
- Note: Protect from light if required; do not freeze unless specified.
